Responsibility
Our commitments, in practice.
No grand speeches and no definition of CSR: five concrete commitments, expressed as practices we apply in Dakar, on our engagements as much as in the life of the firm. Accountability is one of our four values. Here is what it means day to day.
Our commitments
Five commitments, five practices.
We prefer a few commitments kept to many good intentions. For each one: what we do, stated as it is.
- Responsible digital
We limit the footprint of our own usage: equipment kept as long as possible, printing reduced, shared workspaces rather than attachments. On our projects, we favour lean architectures: standard before custom, cloud environments sized to actual need and switched off when not in use, data kept for a reason and not out of habit.
- Training and employing young Senegalese talent
SAP, Salesforce and data skills must grow in the sub-region. We recruit and train in Dakar, we welcome early-career profiles and we mentor them on engagements. At our clients, we train local teams so that they operate their systems autonomously: skills transfer is part of every engagement.
- Equality and inclusion
Equal treatment regardless of origin, gender, beliefs, age or disability, in recruitment as in career development. Decisions are made on achievements and arguments, not on rank or network. We pay attention to diversity in our teams and in our hiring.
- Business ethics and compliance
Recommendations free of any vendor interest, documented and owned; any conflicting interest declared before a recommendation is made. No undue advantage, neither given nor accepted, in our relationships with clients, partners and public procurement. On projects that process personal data, we apply Law No. 2008-12 and the requirements of the Commission de protection des données personnelles (CDP), Senegal's data protection authority, and we support our clients in their filings.
- Sustainable working conditions
A sustainable pace and long-term progression for every member of the team: regular follow-up conversations, attention to engagement workload, continuous training, a listening ear when a project gets difficult. A firm that wears out its teams does not keep its commitments to its clients.
On our engagements
What this changes for our clients.
A consulting firm's CSR commitment is judged first in the projects it delivers. Three concrete effects of our commitments on your transformation.
Protected data
Mapping of processing activities, minimisation of migrated data, controlled access rights, hosting chosen with full knowledge of the facts. Compliance with Law No. 2008-12 is built into the design, not added afterwards.
Autonomous teams
Your business owners and administrators take part in the project from the first workshop to the cutover. At the end of the engagement, they know how to keep the system alive without us.
Lean systems
Standard first, environments sized to need, custom developments limited to what creates real value. A simpler system costs less to run and to evolve.
What comes next
A commitment that keeps growing.
We grow these commitments at the pace of the firm, without making them look bigger than they are. Want to talk about them, or find out how we apply them on a project? Write to us.
