ERP for SMEs and mid-sized companies

Odoo for SMEs and mid-sized companies.

A complete, modular, open source ERP, implemented by an Odoo partner based in Dakar. Finance within the SYSCOHADA framework, sales and CRM, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, projects, payroll: you start with what you need and add the rest when the business calls for it. The same demanding method as on SAP, at the scale of an SME.

The problem

A growing company eventually outgrows its spreadsheets.

Accounting in a local software package, sales in a spreadsheet, stock levels in the warehouse manager's head, quotes in an inbox. Every figure exists several times and none is authoritative. The SYSCOHADA closing is rebuilt by hand, management discovers its margin after the fact, and the first large customer or the first subsidiary breaks the setup. SAP S/4HANA would be disproportionate. Staying as you are costs more every month. In between, there is an ERP designed for this size of company.

Our approach

Deploy in short batches, never everything at once.

01

Frame

Your real processes, your priorities, the scope of the first batch. We do not deploy fifteen modules on day one: we choose the ones that solve your most costly problem.

02

Iterate

Configuration in short cycles, shown to your teams on your own data, adjusted at every cycle. The Odoo standard first; custom development only when the business truly requires it.

03

Take over the data

Chart of accounts, business partners, items, opening balances, open transactions: extracted from your spreadsheets or your accounting software, cleaned, loaded, then reconciled with you before go-live.

04

Train and go live

Training by role, on your concrete cases. Cutover on a date chosen together, outside closing and outside peak activity, with reinforced presence in the first days.

05

Support

Support, fixes, enhancements, version upgrades: Odoo evolves every year, your system keeps up without redoing everything. The service continues through our support offering.

The scope

One system for all of your management.

Every Odoo module shares the same data. The quote becomes an order, the order becomes a delivery, the delivery becomes an invoice, the invoice becomes a journal entry. With no re-keying.

SYSCOHADA finance & accounting

Revised SYSCOHADA chart of accounts, journals, Senegalese VAT, OHADA financial statements produced from the system. We start from Odoo's OHADA localisation, which we complete and configure for your activity. Multi-company and multi-currency for subsidiaries and groups across UEMOA.

Sales & CRM

Sales pipeline, quotes, orders, invoicing, reminders. A portal where the customer views their quotes and invoices. The link with inventory makes it possible to promise a date you can keep.

Purchasing

Purchase requests, supplier consultations, orders, receipts, invoice checking. Local suppliers and imports tracked in a single thread, with landed costs allocated to the right item.

Inventory & logistics

Multiple warehouses, traceability by lot or serial number, stock counts, replenishment rules, barcode scanning on mobile in the warehouse.

Manufacturing

Bills of materials, manufacturing orders, planning, cost prices, quality control and equipment maintenance, for industrial and agri-food sites.

Projects & services

Projects, tasks, timesheets, invoicing by progress or by time spent, for firms, engineering offices and service companies.

Payroll & human resources

Employee records, leave and absences, expense reports, payroll based on Senegalese rules configured and then checked with your advisers before the first real payroll run.

Who it is for

Three situations where Odoo is the right answer.

01

Growing SMEs and mid-sized companies

A trading, services or manufacturing company that has outgrown its initial tools and wants a single management system, without the cost or the weight of a large ERP.

02

Group subsidiaries

A subsidiary or a local branch that must keep its SYSCOHADA accounts, report to head office and remain simple to operate with a small team.

03

Organisations outside the scope of SAP

Firms, institutions, NGOs and mid-sized organisations: complete management needs, a measured budget and the wish to stay in control of their tool.

Odoo or SAP?

The right question is not the tool. It is the size of the problem.

We practise both worlds, and we keep each in its place. SAP S/4HANA is the answer for multi-company regional groups with complex processes, high volumes and demanding control requirements. SAP Business One suits SMEs and mid-sized companies that want to stay within the SAP ecosystem, often because their parent company is there. Odoo answers SMEs and mid-sized companies looking for a complete, modular ERP with controlled licence costs, able to grow with them. The choice is made on your size, your complexity and your trajectory, not on our preferences. We will tell you which one fits, and we will put it in writing. Hosting

Four ways to host Odoo, chosen from Dakar.

The right hosting is read in the connectivity of your sites, the residency of your data, the cost in foreign currency and your ability to operate it. We examine all four options with you.

The simplest

Odoo Online

The vendor-hosted offering: nothing to operate, automatic updates, scope limited to the standard. Suited to companies that need no custom development at all.

The most flexible

Odoo.sh

The vendor's cloud platform for companies with custom modules: test environments, controlled deployments, backups, without managing a server.

The most controlled

AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud

Odoo deployed on your own cloud environment, sized and secured by our teams: choice of region, backups, monitoring, integrations with your other systems.

The most local

On premises

Odoo installed on your servers, in Dakar or on your own premises, when connectivity, regulation or your data policy require it. We handle the installation and keep it in working order.

Migration

Leave the spreadsheet without losing the history.

Most of our Odoo clients come from spreadsheets, a local accounting package or an isolated sales management tool. We take over what has value: the chart of accounts and balances, business partners, items and their prices, open orders and invoices, the history useful for steering. We leave behind what no longer has any. Every takeover is reconciled with your accountant before cutover, so that the first closing on Odoo is right. After go-live, our support team takes over: fixes, small enhancements, version upgrades, under service level commitments. Support & application management
